My name is Melissa Riggio. I'm eighteen years old and am graduating high school this June. I have Down Syndrome but my life is a lot like yours. I sing in my school chorus, am on the swim team and work at our local YMCA.
Sometimes I think people only see the outside of me, not the inside. And I really want people to go in there and see what I'm all about. That's why I put my feelings into words. And with my friend Rachel's help, my words have become songs. Rachel and I have co-written two songs, the latest is "Love is a Potion."
